Moisturizer quality is good, but the outer packaging is poor. The brittle covering broke off after first use, rendering the product unsealable.

Why is it oil based?

It doesn't leave skin oily when applied in a small amount. Also it doesn't cause acne as acne bacteria feeds on only skin oil and not on other oils. Making it oil based is the only way to avoid preservatives to prevent damage to good bacteria. 

It’s the preservatives required in lightweight products which cause acne. So as per latest research skin microbiome friendly oil based products are safest for acne prone skin.
